Better Physician Recruitment Through experience-based marketing and design

Q7 Associates has worked with companies in multiple industries helping them evolve through various phases of their business using Experience-based Marketing.  More importantly, during these vulnerable times, it is imperative to assess and evaluate strategies within the organization’s lifecycle.

Two resources that recently reflect the current and future position of the health care industry: What will U.S. Health Care Look Like After the Pandemic? and Strong medicine is needed to solve America’s rural health crisis, provide insight into some ways to navigate into a stronger position of growth or maintaining the organization’s mature strengths with some minor adaptations to the needs of today and in the future.

“We must expand the notion of what it means to be a “health care provider.”

“Prior to the onset of this crisis, health care providers were experiencing high and increasing levels of burnout. A key driver of this trend has been the need for physicians to manage a host of non-clinical issues related to their patients’ so-called “social determinants of health” — factors such as a lack of literacy, transportation, housing, and food security that interfere with the ability of patients to lead healthy lives and follow protocols for treating their medical conditions. A recent study in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine found that physicians who perceived that their clinic had a high capacity to address the social needs of patients — typically with the availability of non-physician providers — had significantly lower levels of physician burnout. “

“Since 2010, more than 100 rural hospitals have closed, forcing people to drive extra hours to see a physician or seek medical care. Without the support of an area hospital, it’s difficult to replace independent physicians once they retire.”

Our firm practices Experience-based Marketing that allows us to focus on human-centered behaviors to better connect with your intended audience.  Traditional marketing techniques fall short of meeting and creating engagement with your audience.  Our practice takes that connection even further to create advocates of your brand and its culture.

Q7 has identified key factors in physician recruitment as it relates to the organization’s culture, community and engagement.  By creating online microsites and dashboard information that highlights the intrinsic and extrinsic communities, physicians have a better perspective of the lifestyle that comes with the practice.
